Having to buy a new prosthesis has really made me quite irritated.

I don’t want to have to spend the money, especially on something that I should have been fucking born with in the first place.

Not to mention the high likelihood of it being “not right” in a plethora of different ways.
The whole excercise has had me avoiding making a purchase for months, but now it’s kind of getting absolutely necessary and I can’t put it off much longer.

Boo.

TMD’s Prosthetic Review Master Post.

A while back I recieved a question asking me to review the plethora of prosthetics/packers I have used over the years.
I’ll give each a rating out of 10, with 10 being the better end of the spectrum.

Note: This is a work-in-progress; I can’t sit down and write all of the reviews at once. Thanks for your patience.

Homemade Condom/Gel Packer:
There’s a first time for everyone, and mine was right here. As far as I’m concerned this still feels much more realistic through underpants than some of the more pricier store-bought packers available. Not too much to say here; doesn’t look realistic, but feels good and you can choose what size you’re comfortable with.
4/10

Novelty Sticky Penis: This was, when I was very young, my first ever “bought” packer. It was sold as a novelty, and the texture and consistency is exactly that of those sticky slapper hands you had as a kid. I had to powder it every time so it wouldn’t stick to my harness, and it was actually bright pink – but it worked and made me happy at the time. I was underage, and did not have any way to order online. This sufficed, but I wouldn’t reccomend it. (Link to what I’m talking about)
3/10

Mr. Limpy: This was the first proper packer I bought. I probably can’t say much more than anyone else has; they’re affordable, pretty realistic and come in a few different sizes. I couldn’t use any but the “Extra Small” version without feeling like I had an uncooked sausage in my pants. Does the job well, and I still use this particular packer if I am going swimming or doing particularly acrobatic activities. It stays where I put it, and it’s too large to look obscene under tight clothing/swimwear. You can easily make homemade STPs out of these, too.
Cons: Lacks the realism some other prosthetics have, can often feel a bit too squishy, needs thorough cleaning and powdering so it doesn’t get sticky.
5/10.

MAN-GO: This was one of the first STP’s on the market which wasn’t simply a medicine spoon recipticle in a Mr. Limpy. What I really liked about this product was the recepticle; it was much smoother and easier to use than the medicine spoon I had been using prior. The packer itself was just a Mr. Limpy, although I purchased my MAN-GO when they first came out, so I can’t really comment on how they are now (or if they even exist?)
7/10

GV Sailor: This packer is probably the best in terms of realistic feel than most others as the core is a different density than the outer softer skin, giving it a realistic feel and weight. I never really used this packer much however, due to me not being able to find a comfortable way to pack with it. I was used to a smaller packer back then, and I think this was 4″ instead of 3.5″ that I was used to. It’s on par with the Mr. Limpy with regards to realism when looking at the prosthetic, however feel is far far better.
7/10

Peecock Generation 1: This, as it stands, is by far the best prosthetic I have had to date in terms of how it sits in my underpants, how it packs nicely without an obscene bulge and how easy it is for me to urinate with it. I forget I am wearing it. I never have to think about lining anatomy up, or accidentally messing myself. It also works well enough in bed for sexytimes, seeing as it’s a Pack, pee and play.
The cons with this particular product are the severe lack of realism; there aren’t as many little details on this prosthetic as there are on say, Mr. Limpy’s, but the ability for it to work so well in other areas surpasses this inconvenience for me. I also did not want to have a giant prosthetic for packing, so I opted for the smallest they had – which then made it a little too small for bedroom use.
8.5/10

Freetom 4-in-1: This has been thoroughly reviewed both in video and in pictoral format HERE and HERE.
7.5/10

Hi! I just found your blog after watching your review of the 4in1 prosthetic from FreeToM. In the review you said that you had figured out a harness situation that worked for you. You mentioned that you might post about it on your blog, but I was unable to find a post about it. I was hoping you might expound on your discovery. Thank you!

I had two questions about this, one Anon and one not – so I’ve chosen to answer the Anon one in case the other was meant for private conversation.

So the best possible way I have found to wrangle the FreeTom is; a snug pair of briefs with a fly hole… the one you can poke your dick through. Put the prosthesis against yourself, slip the shaft through the snug briefs hole and then put your regular underwear over the top. I know it’s not ideal because there’s two pairs of jocks – but it’s the “safest” and most discreet way I’ve found to pack with the FreeTom that still allows STP function. In fact, I find when I do this I don’t actually have to hold the prosthesis to me when I pee – the snug underpants do the job just fine. Adjustments may be had throughout the day if it slips a little – but bio guys have to adjust thier junk too.

Do you always use your stp or is there time when you don’t? Like do you sleep with it?

If I am awake and have showered, my STP is in my jocks. Always.

As for pissing, sometimes in the comfort of my own home I’ll sit to pee – especially if the trip to the toilet is for erm, multi tasking? ha.

But as for when I’m out and about, at work etc – I will always stand to pee. The exception to this is occasionally when I am absolutely blind drunk and know there’s significant chance I will piss all over myself if I stand. That would likely happen if I were natal male, anyway. Sometimes the floor moves when you’re drunk.

As for sleeping with it, I generally prefer to sleep with a Mr Limpy or some other smaller kind of packer. I don’t usually have to pee during the night, and having a peecock floating about in your boxer shorts is not as comfortable as a Mr Limpy, which is significantly smaller and squishier.

Freetom Prosthetics.

Now all I can think about is getting my hands on (ha!) one of these prosthetics.

I wish I were getting paid sooner so I could order right now, but unfortunately you’ll all have to wait a few weeks + shipping time for the review due to my funds already being allocated for boring things such as rent, food and bills.

However I will say that I have made a few inquiries already and the customer service is not only rapid, but fantastic.

In the mean time, check out http://www.freetomprosthetics.com/ and oogle over the apparent awesomeness.

Has anyone bought one of those “Locker Room” prosthetic (specifically the STP ones, more specifically the uncut model)?

I only just heard about them and am curious.

My Gen1 peecock seems to be on it’s last legs. Bit unfortunate, but I have had this thing for a couple of years and used it every single day, so I’d say that’s a good track record.

Looks like I’ll need to invest in the Gen2 at some stage.

I hate adjusting to a new packer, even if it’s the same model as a previous one. They always need a “wearing in” period – like a new pair of shoes almost.

Hey dude, awesome page. I will be following as I plan to be a dad some day and it’s nice to see someone going through that process as a trans man before me! I just got one of the new tsw stp packers and like it better than my peecock (which felt cheap and broke)… Check out my page if ya like :)

Hey, thanks for the kind words – glad this blog is useful to some.

I also appreciate the recommendation regarding the TSW STP; but I’m not currently in the market for a new STP.

I’ve had my current Generation 1 Peecock for approximately 4 years, using it every single day and it’s only recently begun to wear away and begin to break – not really even break just more wear away from friction. Four years of continual use has far exceeded the lifespan I thought the product would originally have, so I haven’t really had anything negative to say with regards to the longevity of my particular Peecock. They do however leave something to be desired in terms of realism – but that’s a compromise I’m willing to take as it does what I want it to in all other areas.

Edit:
I just researched the TSW STP’s and unfortunately the reason I’m so enamored with the Peecock is it’s 3-in-1 ability to become a hard prosthetic without having to switch “equipment”. The ease of use for an STP and/or packer is simply a bonus for me.
