Hey there, I’m saving up for a freetom prostethic the 4 in 1 7″ and I’m having trouble deciding what harness will keep it in place. Do you have any suggestions?

Hey there,

To be frank I’d avoid the freetom. It was just too large to do anything besides fuck with, for me anyway. Having a giant sausage in your pants becomes awkward and convenient for packing purposes.
But I found that using tight briefs gave me the best chances of actually being able to pack with it 🙂

Do you have any advice on shopping for packers/STPs? I’m thinking about investing in a 3-in-1 type at some point, but I’m not sure where to look or what to consider investing in since many are expensive.

When it comes to packers and STP’s my recommendations for people would depend on a few factors. The questions that come to mind are usually: how realistic do you want it to be, how realistic do you want it to feel, what is your price range, what kind of bulge are you looking for, what sort of harness would you want, do you even want to have a harness, what kind of firmness are you looking for, does the STP need to be inside of a packer, and so on so forth. If a person needs help finding a specific product then I’d be glad to assist them, I’d just need those kinds of questions answered. For the most part I’ve read enough reviews on almost all of the products to see what issues people have with them as well and can take that into account when recommending products.

For general advice I can copy/paste some products from a list I made for ftmsextalk and you can browse through those to see if there’s anything you like in terms of the aesthetic and price of it. Establish a budget for yourself, make a list of desirable qualities (based on the questions above), make a list of things you’re willing to compromise on, and then explore these options:

Packers:
$12 – Mr. Limpy
$20 – Pack-it Packers
$20 – Masho
$24-28 – Sailor Soft Pack
$40 – Private Silicone Packer
$52 – Packman
$55 – Archer
$55 – Pierre
$60 – Mr. Right
$80 – ReelMagik Basic Packer
$100-400 – Like Real Prosthetics
$250-275 – Lola.Jake Products
$297-350 – Emisil Products
$500 – ReelMagik Prosthetics

STP Devices:
$10 – Go Girl STP
$12 – pStyle
$16 – Classic Fenis
$25 – Mr. Fenis
$50 – Fitz STP
$55 – Number One STP
$75 – Model D STP
$80 – Model A STP
$195-295 – Transthetics

3-in-1 Devices:
$159-179 – FreeToM Prosthetics
$179 – Peecock

Each device comes with it’s own unique set of advantages and disadvantages, therefore no product is inherently greater than another. They each have their place in this world and they are suited for different people. After you review these products to decide what you like based on appearance and price, I’d recommend looking up several (10+) reviews to see what others have to say. See what issues they have with it and if that’s something you would feel comfortable with. An important question to consider when looking at a product is how it looks when packing, as one could seem fine in a picture and end up very difficult to pack with (such as the FreeToM), so look for pictures of people packing with it as well. This could take a few hours, but you’re putting in a lot of work to find a product that will hopefully be perfect and make your life so much better. It’s really worth the work.

And a word of warning – “The Ultimate Prosthetic” is a site you might come across when looking for packers. This is a well known scam and many people have put hundreds of dollars into it and have never received their products. Steer clear of this and stay safe. This is why looking for multiple product reviews is so important.

This is a super thorough packing post.

Do you always use your stp or is there time when you don’t? Like do you sleep with it?

If I am awake and have showered, my STP is in my jocks. Always.

As for pissing, sometimes in the comfort of my own home I’ll sit to pee – especially if the trip to the toilet is for erm, multi tasking? ha.

But as for when I’m out and about, at work etc – I will always stand to pee. The exception to this is occasionally when I am absolutely blind drunk and know there’s significant chance I will piss all over myself if I stand. That would likely happen if I were natal male, anyway. Sometimes the floor moves when you’re drunk.

As for sleeping with it, I generally prefer to sleep with a Mr Limpy or some other smaller kind of packer. I don’t usually have to pee during the night, and having a peecock floating about in your boxer shorts is not as comfortable as a Mr Limpy, which is significantly smaller and squishier.

I see so many STP packers out there and the good ones are ~$200. That’s almost a full months rent for me, and it’s so discouraging. I feel like I’m never going to be able to pack properly and comfortably and it’s making everything so difficult to handle.

I can really relate.
I am in a much better financial situation now than I have been in the past due to steady employment, but being a Father means regardless, you put your child first.

What I think is useful here are reviews: in depth, detailed as hell pictoral and video reviews of products, perhaps even compiled into one place. I’ve thought about doing it myself, but I don’t have the time nor the funds.

For what it’s worth: I have bought over 10 different prosthetics (some STP, some just packers, some play) in my time, and a vast majority have been a waste of money.

What are you looking for in an STP, exactly?

This is a tad personal but I was wondering if you have used your FreeTom for sex yet. If you have, did you use a condom? And if you did, after you finished and took the condom off did it leave lube or sticky residue on the shaft?

Details about sex coming up ASAP. As well as the video review.

I know I’m taking my time, but there’s no other way around it unfortunately.

I was in the shower thinking about how I could have answered this better, apologies.
Firstly, Freetom Prosthetics recommends to use a condom when using the prosthesis for sexual purposes. This is not only for safety, but hygiene purposes.
I always, always use a condom when using prosthesis. It’s just a thing that I do.

As for sticky residue, this is a confusing question. Residue from the lubricant packaged with condoms is something biological men have to deal with as well – and to be frank, I can’t see why this would be a problem unless you weren’t prepared to wash your junk after you have sexy time with it. That comes with a whole other set of hygiene issues you might like to consider.

Overall, use a condom – its cleaner, protects your prosthesis and partner from potential nasties laying on something you use to urinate with (even if you’ve cleaned it).

Okay, as promised here’s a couple of photographs of the underwear which has a built in packing pocket. Well, it’s just how they’re made – not specifically for trans guys or anything however they work quite well.

As far as I know these are only avaliable in Australia.
Big W stores more specifically.

And yes, I did use a pillow as an underwear model. Shh.

Apologies for the oversized faded briefs used here, I don’t personally use these type of underpants anymore although I did for quite a number of years. I wear these type when going to the gym or swimming, though – they make me feel more secure.

I couldn’t find a photo of the packaging for the Men’s version of the multipack briefs pictured, however I found a photograph of the Boy’s briefs in the Allsorts brand, and the packaging looks much the same.

In a recent post you mentioned some underpants with an inbuilt packer pouch. I was wondering if you knew of the brand? I’m totally interested! Thanks!

I posted a photo here pertaining to the Alpha Male brand underpants that are useful for this.

There’s also another cheaper brand called “Allsorts" and I think you get them from K-Mart in Australia. They are briefs (kind of like speedos) and have two layers of fabric which form a “pouch" when you cut a horizontal hole a few inches beneath the waistband inside the underwear.

That doesn’t make much sense, when I’m procrastinating at some stage today I’ll try to take photos of the second kind of underwear.

Having said all of that; I simply shove my packy in a pair of underpants and away I go. Silicone is great for that.
