In your opinion should a trans man stay stealth to their children?
In my opinion a trans man should do whatever he feels is right for his situation. I am not stealth to K, but he forgets alllll the time.
I’d really like to see some advice regarding handling questions from other parents/teachers and such. How much do you share with them? Do you tell them how your kid was conceived? How do you handle other people’s kids and the questions they might have?
Basically if they’re friends I’ll disclose that I’m not K’s biological father if it comes up. When people ask if we are having more children I tell them I’m unfortunately unable to do that – people respect this and assume I’m sterile. I don’t mind.
Otherwise, it’s no one elses buisness. There’s no reason for anyone to question my gender.

Does your son have your last name?
Not as yet; we are waiting for his birth father to send back the appropriate paperwork. My Wife spoke to him a few months ago on the phone – he initiated the call to wish us well after our wedding and requested said paperwork. My Wife sent them to him promptly, along with a return addressed envelope as he is notorious for being lazy.
We still haven’t received any paperwork – my Wife resolutes to contact him soon.

May as well use this post to update you all about K’s first gig: it went so amazingly well! He didn’t miss a beat, even when the vocalist came in early by accident. I filmed it, took a thousand photos… screamed like a dickhead when he finished.
I couldn’t stop grinning, and I was trying to hold the camera still for the video but I was shaking with excitement/happiness.
I am so so proud.
