This is tricky – is there a GLBT clinic in your area that might be able to point you in the right direction?
And finding a *good* therapist is difficult enough, even in major cities.
It sucks being isolated and I hope you manage to find some services soon. But without knowing where you are I can’t help much more, sorry.
Please point out one instance of these wild accusations?
It’s ironic that you won’t let me be when you’re accusing me of doing just that.

Thanks for letting me know! I’ll attempt to fix ASAP but am currently at work 😊
Edit: I have a copy of the .PDF to upload when I’m at a computer but if you google “The Little Boy Book FTM” its the FTMAustralia wordpress link that has the .pdf
Little man has survived his first week at high school. Holy shit no one warned me just how challenging this would be for us as parents, as well as K.
He’s really stepped up; I can’t articulate just how amazing he’s been about the increased travel time, decreased sleep time and increased homework. He looks so damn smart in his little uniform and leather shoes.
In winter, he has to wear a tie. This morning he really wasn’t feeling it, but got his stuff together regardless and was on the bus at 7:20am with the other kids. Long days for him now, but he loves the school so that’s all that matters.
I sat with him and helped with his Math homework on Sunday. That felt awesome.
I love your blog. This gives me hope to have a family of my own some day.
There’s plenty of other Dads like me out there. You can totally start a family of your own someday!
Thanks for the love, and if there’s anything specific you’d like to see on here don’t hesitate to send a message.
Sorry for the delayed reply!

You can explain however you like. You can use analogies. You can try to get people to imagine what it’s like in your shoes. They won’t get it. Trying to explain gender dysphoria to someone without it is like trying to explain colour to a blind person.

Am I the only one that finds being in places filled with other trans people to be vaguely uncomfortable?
I guess that makes me a bit of a dick, but I can’t help it.
No, you’re not.
I have not been in a space with other trans people for over 5 years now. The last experience I had was less than desirable.
It’s here! An animation on how metoidioplasty works!
You did a wonderful job explaining metoidioplasty in a detailed but easy to understand way. It’s also helpful to see how the UK breaks up their stages when comparing with other surgeons around the world. Thanks for taking the time to make this, Leo! It’s going to help a lot of people.
