I saw some post saying “5 + years on testosterone is not a good place to be”
Ugh, have you been on T for five years or more in order to have come to such a conclusion?

I’ve been on testosterone for 10 years this year. It’s a fantastic place to be.

Have you legally change your gender? You know on your birth certificate? I’m a transman, I’m stealth and I haven’t legally changed any think cause I’m a little confused on what I need done. Any tips if you had done it. I’m also from NSW Australia. Also seeing you gives me hope that one day I’ll have a family of my own.

Yes, I have. It’s how I was able to legally get married.
If I recall correctly, NSW requires you to have proof of a surgical intervention. They require statutory declarations from your treating Doctor(s). I supplied every single medical document relating to my transition, as I too was apprehensive. This was likely overkill.
There’s information about this on the NSW Births, Deaths and Marriages website.

I hope this explained things enough. When I get home from work if you still need further infomation I will dig up the BD&M link.

What advice would you give to a transguy who wants to start testosterone but he’s kinda scared incase he can’t cope with the changes? I’m 15,16 in august and I can start T after my 16th birthday.

Therapy. Honestly if you’re unsure in any way, a therapist will help you work through it. Or perhaps a councilor of some kind.

It’s a scary thing and you’ve got your entire life ahead of you. Just because you can legally begin T at 16, certainly does not mean you have to.

Good luck.
